Martaş Port, the first international private sector port in Thrace region, was established in 1993 in Marmaraereğli - Tekirdag. Within the facility, which has a loading-unloading capacity of 6.000.000 tons per year, various kinds of services are offered which are required from a contemporary port, and the public warehouse carries out its operating business using the most modern container, bulk and general cargo handling equipment.
Martaş Port is located in a key point between Istanbul and the industrial sites of Thrace region. It is close to the Europan highway which enables to quick and easy access without being hampered by the heavy city traffic of Istanbul. Martaş has two RO-RO docks, deep draft berths and a well- organized large yard area which provides an effective terminal service.
